Auxiliary Mission Statement:
To promote and support the Manor whenever possible, through augmenting services to the residents, serving as a voice in the community, promoting volunteerism, and contributing financial support.

Purpose:
The auxiliary was organized in 1994 for the purpose of providing recreation, entertainment and personal contact to the residents, promoting the Manor in the community and raising money for the benefit of the residents

Meetings:
The Auxiliary meets four times a year on the first Wednesday in December, March, June and September.

Committees:
Committees of the Auxiliary include:

  • Membership
  • Volunteer
  • Ways and Means
  • Hospitality
  • Special Events
  • Nominating
  • Public Relations

Membership:
Open to all who are interested in the purpose of the Auxiliary.
Classifications include:

  • Active - Regular attendance at meetings
    and participation on one committee
  • Associate - No active service required,
    but is welcome.
  • Lifetime - Payable within two years.
    Provides exemption from further payments.
    No active service required, but is welcome.

Projects the Auxiliary has supported are:

  • Wallpaper for the Hairdresser's Room
  • Repair of large
    screen TV
  • Outdoor Swing
  • Sound System
  • Lights of Westminster
  • Library Cart
  • TV/VCR Combo
  • Benefit Dinners
  • Capital Campaign for 85 South Street
  • Beautification
    of the grounds

Associate $ 10.00
